Mrs Renfro's ananassalsa

The pineapple chunks are actually visible and tender, not just a hint of flavor, so every scoop has that tropical pop. I've been putting it on grilled chicken tacos and even just with tortilla chips, and the sweet-savory mix makes it feel way more special than a standard salsa.

I was skeptical about fruit in salsa, but this one nails the balance—the pineapple chunks are juicy and actually sweet, while the savory tomato base keeps it tasting like a proper salsa. Spooned it over grilled chicken tacos last night and the tropical kick made the whole meal feel like a vacation.

The sweetness is balanced enough that it works on tacos without overpowering them. I wish the heat level were a bit higher, but the tropical flavor makes it a solid choice for summer cookouts.
