The heat is unreal—one spoonful and my nose was running, but the pepper-forward flavor actually comes through instead of just pure burn. It's dangerous on tacos, exactly what I wanted when I saw that Pepper X got swapped in.
The label says Reaper but Pepper X actually delivers the burn — took one chip dipped in this and my forehead went instant sweat. It's got that vinegary kick underneath the heat that keeps me coming back for another bite even while my mouth is on fire.
The heat is absolutely brutal but in the best way—one spoonful had my eyes watering before I even hit the chips. I love that they’re upfront about the Pepper X switch, so you know you’re getting the real deal, not some watered-down version. This jar’s not lasting the week.
